Beans and rice are cheap as heck. If you can't cook you can find them "ready to serve".

Here's a recipe for "POWER MEAL"

1 can of your favorite baked beans

1 lbs of cooked rice (ready made bag or dehydrated in your case)

1 can of your favorite chilli

1 lbs your choice of protein. I like most of the barnyard animals for this recipe, JMO.

You can add whatever vegetables you want if you need to add fiber.

This stuff is RIB STICKIN'. Super high protein, decent carbs, hella cheap. About a fist sized pile will fill you up and keep your clock ticking for hours. Helped me through some lean times!
No. You need to stop giving people nutritional advice. You don't understand that there are differences between types of carbs and types of protein. Don't do this anymore.

The advice is for a filling meal on a budget. Poor people don't always get to pick and choose their carbs or protein.

I have a fantastic idea; Why don't you give the young man beter advice than I offered instead of just being a whiny contrary little ****?

Or at the very least read the OP before you jump to conclusions.

This is not a meal on a budget. What you're suggesting costs just as much as doing anything else.

6 pack of chicken from any grocery store costs like $6.
25lbs bag of rice $15 from any asian grocerie store.

The rice will hold for half a year and feed you until it's all gone.

    Bake the chicken.
    Cook the rice.

Done. That is a meal on a budget. You're suggesting **** that 1. Is not good for you. and 2. Not really on a budget.

OP does not have a stove or oven. Did you read the thread at all?

Your advice should be to him and not to me anyways.

Seriously, WTF are you doing trying to fight with me here for?

    Yes, I did read that.

He can also microwave that ****. Or spend the $40 on a hot plate and not worry about it. This is some pretty fucking simple **** one can think around. I didn't know that we had to give him every single step. I'm pretty certain that he can breathe without being reminded. Some other people, I'm not so sure about.

I will type this one time only. Keep your petty flame war out of the technique forums, or I will temp ban you both.

You are both adults. Therefore, you get only one warning.
Shut the hell up and train.

I'm not flame warring anything. I'm trying to point out the awful advice here. The guy already has trouble getting nutritious food to eat and guy over there wants him to eat stuff, but stuff that's even worse for him.

Getting something like a little toaster oven isn't a stretch. This is some real advice I'm giving here.

Why are beans, rice, animal protein, and veggies unhealthy?

I mean, your meal just cut out the beans and veggies. You didn't make much improvement over Machettes recipe.
