It details a great deal about what they knew and what they did in terms of reviving Elizabethan fencing, but it isn't a technical instructional manual in any sense; more like a social history of the revival.

Several years ago, I saw some Shakespearean stage actors enacting sword fighting scenes from Romeo and Juliet at the Frazier History Museum in Louisville, KY. They went thru it blow by blow, then did it at full speed. It was a very interesting performance.
Old-school sword fighting is an amazing thing to watch live.
