    Hell yeah! Hell no!

    Best wikipedia entries

So while I was writing a paper I trailed completely off the subject and started dicking around on the internet, when I found this:

Hawk and Animal were buddies that grew up on the mean streets of Chicago. Hawk was in a south side gang. Animal tried to put Hawk on the right path, and started training Hawk with weights in Animal's basement. However Hawk still had the matter of his gang membership to sort out. One day Hawk went to tell the gang leader he wanted out. Of course the gang wasn't having that. A whole group of them approached him, ready to pounce. Suddenly Animal showed up and told them to back off. Hawk yelled to Animal to get lost, this wasn't Animal's problem it was Hawk's. Animal responded "there is no you and me anymore, just us". They proceeded to kick the ever living **** out of the gang.
This thread is dedicated to entertaining wikipedia entries, amazon reviews, and the like. Yes, I need some light entertainment once in a while when writing stuff for university.

I actually read an ad for a WingZun (yeah, that's how it was spelled) self defense seminar today. Among other things, it described how the secrets of WingZun have been kept in Shaolin monasteries for many centuries. I was delighted.

I've found that to be hit or miss; sometimes those quoted sources in WikiPedia are BS. Man do I hate vetting source material!

Besides, when you study a subject long enough you find there are typically a handful of reputable peer-reviewed, scholarly publications from which to draw data.

Sorry this is the polar-opposite of the point of this thread. I thought what fans did to the Daniel Tosh Wikipedia page was hilarious, but was closed down almost immediately.
