Old guy kendo demo
Here's a demo from the 109th Kyoto Taikai a week or so ago, Ota-sensei is on the left and Makino-sensei is on the right. You might be unimpressed by their kendo until you know that Ota is 99 years old and Makino is only a few years younger than that. Most of us can only hope to drool aggressively at that age.
I liked how much "chess match" went on - you could almost hear them thinking "**** you, Makino - you caught me with that trick in 1968, and I'm not falling for it again."
Yeah, it reminds me of the scene from "Sherlock Holmes: Game of Shadows" where Holmes and Moriarty are playing out how the fight will go in their heads.
