Oh I get it, Devil's using /b/tard (is that even a thing, I think it's a thing, maybe it's not, I don't know) style shaming language in an attempt to <insert something> me. You crafty Devil, preying on my ignorance. Is this what is known as "trolling"?

I don't know, hopefully it was just an informational website rather than one that had it's own payment gateway, which could've been bad. I haven't delved too far into it, my main objective is to show them how to use our technology properly. Business as usual though, looks like they are just abandoning the site and building another. Again, I don't know.

Defacing websites isn't "hacking" anymore. It's so point and click my mom could do it.

    Facebook page...just fucking stupid. Egyptians...

The problem with Anonymous is none of them are. Their "elite" 1% are all too willing to rat out the kiddie 99% for a deal with the feds.

It's all a big fucking joke.

    Lulzsec is not Anonymous though.

The article talks about a "huge blow to the organisation", they're not organised enough to have a blow struck against them.

There is no Anonymous at all. It's a just trick of the light...

The point there was "Anonymous" sheep get ratted out by the groups with actual skill....who also get caught because of their egos. It's never been any different, only nowadays there are just way more sheep per wolf.

Common denominator is unless you have nation state support, your all your hactivist legions belong to us, and you are weak and ill-prepared for what's coming to you.

All the games and Guy Fawkes imagery won't save you when reality busts down your front door, kids.

Go ask Sirc, he is the resident script kiddie. There is nothing Metasploit can do that Sirc can't.

The saddest part of the Anonymous saga was when some of "them" threatened the Mexican cartels, and the cartels responded by threatening to kill random people.

Great job, kiddies. You and your yuppie overlords.

Following the release of the abducted anon, self-appointed Anonymous spokesperson Barrett Brown declared he would release the information on Zetas collaborators contained in some 25,000 Mexican government emails anyway because the cartel didn't know the person it released was a member of Anonymous.

Brown, who has reportedly signed a six-figure deal with Amazon to co-author a book on Anonymous, later backed off his threat when he discovered that the Zetas did indeed know who they were releasing and left a note with the abductee threatening to kill ten people for every name of an alleged collaborator released by Anonymous.

So you're an expert because you read gizmodo and wired? That gives you intimate access to the thoughs of thousands of people who make an effort to remain as invisible as possible?

Apparently you don't under stand how cell systems work. It clandestine opperation 101 and it applies across the board from terror groups (for protection) to industry (for secrecy). I guarantee hacker cells understand it in theory and practice.

The reason you see fasilures is just that. Those groups represent the failures.

The best opperatives remain invisible. I.E., who the hell wrote stuxnet? (nation states do not count as individuals when answering this BTW)
