I'm looking forward to the showing in San Diego. Looks like a lot of people put a lot of effort and passion into it, and the FB group has actually had some good discussions.
We had a kempo group from Minnesota come train with us in the garage a while ago. Nice group of folks, and they were nice enough to endure our Fargo impersonations, which I'm sure they've never encountered before when they say they're from Minnesota :) -

The event for the Bladed Hand is both a workshop gathering and the Midwest film premier. Read below for gathering and film details. Hope to see you at one or both events!
Gathering info
When: October 28th - 10am - 3pm
Where: World Martial Arts Center
2913 Lyndale Avenue South, Minneapolis
There will be 5 instructors from different styles, backgrounds as featured in the film: Jeet Kune Do, Kalis Ilustrisimo, Bahad, ZuBu, Dekiti Tersia, Kombatan, ect. We will cover, knife, sword, stick, two stick, stick and knife and more!
We will have some training tools available for loan and sale but please bring a training knife, sword, two sticks if you have these items available, as supplies will be limited. Street shoes are not permitted in the training area, mat shoes are permitted. Wear comfortable clothing and bring a bottle for water.
Cost: $25 for the gathering only or $30 for the gathering and a ticket to "The Bladed Hand Premier".

Where: Pepito's Parkway Theater
4814 Chicago Avenue South, Minneapolis
Jay Ignacio, creator of "The Bladed Hand" will be in town to premier his film. Come out and see this landmark piece on Filipino Martial Arts and culture in a charming classic theater.
