    In the scenario described, it seems to me that you are going continue to get stabbed and slashed for as long as the other guy is able. Defence is such a along shot as to be largely futile.

    Assuming sufficient courage allows action beyond just shitting and crying, I feel the best option must be to just soak up whatever stabbing is going to (inevitably) happen anyway, while attacking to the very best of your ability. Hope that you can break the fucker before you run out of blood.

    In the face of certain death, Kamikaze appears to offer the best chance of life I think.
