    Hell yeah! Hell no!

Wow, Eddie Bravo has a messed up memory:

So I'm youtube surfing and I found this little gem:

This video was shot way back in '98 or 99' I can't remember the exact year. After hearing Eddie's comments though I had to laugh. I was there, I was this guys part time instructor. He also trained with the Beverly Hills Jiu Jitsu guys back in the day and was a good friend of Bas Rutten. Anyway this was the day I met Eddie Bravo.

The real conversation went more like this:
Him: **** I'm going to have to fight Eddie Bravo.

    Me: Who's Eddie Bravo.

Him: This guy's a badass, I'm going to have keep my game on.

Me: He looks smaller than you.

Him: Doesn't matter I've seen this guy tap guys left and right.

Me: Need me to coach you?

    Him: Nah, I've got it.

You can actually see me pacing up and down in the back with the red shirt.

He must've forgotten or confused with another situation. Eddie never would twist things in his favour just for self promotion. We know he isn't into that.

Favorite part was the pants grab at 2:03 to get away from the triangle.

Was Eddie a black belt yet in this one? I don't remember his rank timeline very well.

It was more to the point that he said there were only 4 people there. There were a total of about twenty or so actual competitors. What ended up happening was two weight classes and two skill levels

Also, that ref looks a lot like Robert Ferguson.

That was Robert Ferguson. It was the time where I lost a lot of respect for Ferguson.
