Google Earth claims to have spotted Nessie.

Personally I think it's Cthulu.

Even after staring at the picture without blinking for 20 seconds, I felt no urge to gibber blasphemous doggrel. Ergo, it cannot be a pictoral represenation of Loathly Lord Cthulhu.
I agree with you that it does not much with the plesiosaur like form Nessie is usually imagined to have...perhaps it is "only" some hitherto undiscovered species of giant squid?
