Tate vs Kedzie was badass, the sort of fight that should be held up as an example of the suitability of women's MMA for the big leagues. An excellent mix of Tate getting kicked squarely in the face and highly active ground battles with a very satisfying finish.
As for Rousey, I'd personally like to see if she'd manage to sub a weight-cutting Coenen, as she's perhaps the best submission fighter in her weight class, but she's currently fighting for peanuts in Invicta due to being caught up in the Zuffa/Golden Glory clusterfuck. -

I didn't know either until PSB posted it on sherdog.
This is what's ridiculous for every win, Ronda can't win.
She beats everyone people say she has to beat and so they keep on moving the goalposts. Eventually we're going to see people posting 'Well she hasn't armlocked Brualio at ADCC' or 'Well until she beats Jon Jones by strikes she's overrated'.
The desperation has gone from a whiff to a reek. -

Style: Judo & BJJ--
Coenen lost to Tate--someone Ronda wrecked. McMann has ground out decisions in three of her last four fights. Women's Judo has--by far--the deepest talent pool of any of the female grappling sports. I just don't see anyone surviving long enough to get a decision. There is no one around her weight who can stop her armbar turn.
I saw a video with Eddie Bravo the other day where he broke down Ronda's armbar. He said that when Ronda gets him in the armbar position (the "spiderweb") even he can't escape. He said that she has best armbar in MMA--male or female. -

I don't think I'm moving goalposts. I'm quite a fan of Ronda, in fact. I'm just trying to think of exciting match-ups. Fighters can't be great without great opponents to challenge them.
Means zilch. Fighting ability is not transitive.
