Secrets of the Octagon
The UFC's original instructional videos:
I bought the complete set for $30 online. Just watched first tape. Hilarious. Will upload. Here's preview:
- Ken Shamrock demonstrates a counter to the Royce Gracie front kick.
- Oleg Taktarov and fucking Andy Anderson teaches us how to box.
- Dan Severn teaches us how to palm strike and headbutt from insde the guard. I think what he's showing will set up an armbar for the opponent.
- Keith Hackney shows us an upwards backfist strike and Adam's apple crush.
Funny to note is that the gym they use is the Vee-Arnis jiu-jisu school of New York. David James acts as Ken Shamrock's dummy.

did the set come with the hat, shirt and poster?"Face punches are an essential character building part of a martial art. You don't truly love your children unless you allow them to get punched in the face." - chi-conspiricy
"When I was a little boy, I had a sailor suit, but it didn't mean I was in the Navy." - Mtripp on the subject of a 5 year old karate black belt
"Without actual qualifications to be a Zen teacher, your instructor is just another roundeye raping Asian culture for a buck." - Errant108
"Seriously, who gives a **** what you or Errant think? You're Asian males, everyone just ignores you, unless you're in a krotty movie." - new2bjj

Cool! Can you upload any of it? Does anyone still own the rights to that trainwreck?

If YouTube gets pissy, upload it here for posterity.

I would've uploaded it already, but apparently my Sony doesn't transfer VHS to DVD despite being advertised as being capable of that (The people on Amazon were pissed too). I'm not the most computer literate person in the world, but I think I'll be able to get it up here. I don't see any point in writing a review of it, either, because each tape is only bout 30 minutes long (At $59.95 a pop). Those four tidbits I posted basically constitutes all of the material featured in tape one.

Does anybody know how to wedge a VHS tape into a computer's DVD drive? I swear, I must've broken at least three laptops trying to upload these videos. I'll probably just have to straight-up review them.
Keith Hackney says "Um" way too much. I never realized palm striking the groin to escape a side headlock was a viable UFC move, though.

Anybody want to learn Oleg Taktarov's "Special Texas Move"? Andy Anderson's a bad cowboy.
