    2012 Olympic Wrestling Thread

    No wrestling thread ?
Whassa matter with you Yanks ?
Jordan Burroughs was slick this morning and will be wrestling for a Gold.
He's a hell of a wrestler, very fast on the shoot for a big guy.

He just squeaked by Matt Gentry from B.C. 1-0
    Gentry will wrestle for Bronze.

What a bracket! Burroughs was magic in his first match with ankle picks and the double. The rest were just gutting things out. His double and scramble saved him more than once. The final was a great match and the man is now a national Champion and an Olympic Gold Medalist. What a competitor!

Very impressive performance from the Gold winner in the 60kg division..Tad Azgherov (? not sure on the spelling )
I like it when wrestlers aren't afraid to take chances.
That kid is only 19 yrs.old and he just beat a 3-time world champ from Russia.

Likewise with Lashgari, the Bronze Medal winner from Iran in the 84KG division. No sitting back on a 1 point lead, he keeps driving forward looking for points.
That's what makes wrestling exciting to watch.
