2 and 4 are going to make this even more interesting. I've often wondered how much strategy goes into avoiding grappling because it doesn't score as well as strikes. Plus grappling, as mentioned in 4, it can be a detriment if it goes to decision.
I like these changes except for the defense part because that is part of ring generalship. -

Style: Boxing--
While the grappling vs. striking changes seem like a good thing the reasoning behind effective damage has me a little concerned. If having bigger hits score more than smaller hits sounds like its just an attempt to root out technical striking over just throwing bombs. Potentially short and precise combos used by someone who may not hit as hard as others in their weight class would be considered less valuable by judges than someone who has more punching power and can throw a bomb and have no follow up.
