Tokyo budokan re-opened, loads of JMA deom vids
Nice article by Guillaume Erard on his site can be found here.
It includes some nice demo videos of:
Kyudo (don't know what org)
Judo Goshin kata (two met police guys, presume kodokan/IJF)
Hojutsu (old-timee guns)
The video quality is quite good is all of them.
You...I really have a thing for Shorinji Kempo.
^ I was gonna say the same thing. I like watching and hearing the bogu strikes into throws.
First time I've seen video of hojutsu. I wonder if they're actually shooting musket balls in that crowded place?
I thought the Jukendo was pretty cool, but I could barely watch the naginatado.
I don't think so. But I've been at the Nippon Budokan for that stuff and those matchlocks sound like they're firing cannons.

Reason: Missing words.
Shorinji Kempo was nice. I liked the Nag, I've dabbled in it so I've an idea what they were about. I quite enjoyed the Karate, very crisp, and I've seen that kata before so the deconstruction was pretty much what I expected. Iaido was nice.
Judo. Buffering. OK, Aikido. Buffering. Still, thanks for posting as I can re-visit those.
I'm pretty sure I'm subscribed to his Thread on youtube. I really should pay more attention. :-)
It had less to do with the actual naginata material as it did the music.
I guessed that that was a consideration.
