Oh yeah well considering what everyone says about him I wouldn't be surprised if he would do that.....he seemed like he had a huge ego. He had a very interesting match with a crippled chinese kid and the Chinese kid ended up winning...I wish I recorded it. But the Kid who lost seemed very pissed to lose to him.

Sandbagging is often not done by the participant, but is done by the coaches. The coaches who will say they are preserving the purity of their art by not promoting people until they are absolutely sure they are of the level to be promoted. Fine, in theory, but you get people like my mate who is a brown belt in Judo and only just got his blue belt in BJJ after years of training. No-one in the white belt division stood a chance when he was a four stripe, as he was probably closer to a purple belt than white. It looks great for him, the coach and the school, but really it's a dick thing.
