Style: Boxing/Sanda/BJJ--
I personally like lunging in off-angle with a cross, pivoting on my left hook so I'm facing my opponent in my stance, then finishing with a right body kick.
Something else I've been playing with lately too is shifting my shoulders like I'm about to throw a hook, then stepping forwards diagonally with my right foot as I slip a left uppercut up the middle.
As for lunging into different stances with a jab, I'm not personally a fan of that, but I know someone who does it pretty well. He's a southpaw and if he ever catches you circling the wrong way (to his left), he'll mow you down by switching stances with a left jab. -

No lunges where I train, but of course there are punches that go along with switches in order to throw left kicks (as an orthodox boxer). The lunge punch usually results in a huge overcommitment and opens you up to counters.
A few beginner headpunching combos for you:
Jab-cross-L. hook-cross
Jab-L. uppercut-L. hook-cross
Jab-jab-cross (can cut an angle with your footwork during the double jab) -
