that fight with the japanese fellow was a fucking shambles. there is no way you should be allowed to drop to your knees over and over like that and not get pinged. fire that ref.

Patriotically, Anthony Agogo looked good after a slow start in his fight. I also liked Ramirez from the USA- the score didn't really reflect the lead he had in the fight.
Amodar v Drasovic (?)was a fun scrap.

As there are so many fights and my knowledge of the fighters is so limited, I'd love to hear who you think is worth keeping an eye out for.

On a side note, Golden Boy and Showtime have already set a date to showcase the pro debuts of stand out Olympians.

Agogo is through after just beating the world number 1. Fingers crossed.
Ramirez is out, despite a rousing last round which is a shame. It's not going well for the US.
And Evaldas Petrauskas is very entertaining to watch - a relentless ginger tank.
You should really throw a spoiler tag on this.

I meant that he gets beat up like a mofo, and still the judges give him the fight. :D

I stilll love Saku, but, much like this boxer, he should probably never step on the mat, again.

Funny you should mention it, IiF, there seems to be much anger at the judging, the scoring and claims of farce abound.
Yep, that is the video I am referencing.

Or ... don't read a thread about fights that have already happened if you don't want to know the results. That's pretty standard round here, isn't it?

I saw another thread about about a movie or something where the OP was asked to add a spoiler tag. Your title could mean any number topics will be discussed, so if it has to do with results it would be nice. Then again, I'd hate for you to burn any more calories than necessary swiping your sausage fingers across the keyboard.

It's not going well for the American team, although Spence was a dodgy decision. Is USA ammy boxing in bad shape or have they just been unlucky?
