It's a tough farkin workout, that is for sure.

I've trained a couple of weeks at TFTC Academy in Garner. They seem to be solid guys there, but I'm wondering if I've made a mistake with my particular foot/knee problems.

With a lot of BJJ classes, you should spend a lot of time on the ground, and I see the most knee/foot problems in standing grappling. Just let your coach know, and try not to crank the triangles.

I have taken a short vacation. I planned on going back next week. If the running starts hurting my feet, I will ask to do something alternative, while the guys are doing their circle run.

It is definitely a good, full body workout. I was actually surprised that I wasn't more sore afterwards, but I was definitely wiped out that night and the next day.

I wish I could take the kickboxing too, but I got to draw the line somewhere, right?

Meh? You should be able to kickbox as well-- I have plenty of people in your physical demographic in my classes; it's the wrestling/judo I modify for people with bad joints.

I've got what the doc calls pre-arthritic condition in my feet. She suggested that I don't even walk for exercise. Since weight lifting actually helps it, she gave me a pass on that.

I'm just hard headed enough to try it though...

Dog, I quit 2 weeks before my 21st birthday week of binge drinking.

I'll let you know how that goes.

PROOF that I'm not a completely useless poster:

That is not conducive to passionate cunnilingus, my friend, let me assure you.
