What you need to do is allow yourself to take a break without it being a "smoke break" a lot of smokers are type A people and have developed the habit of using their smoking as a means to take breaks. As opposed to just saying to them selves you know what I just need to step away from this for a few minutes.

Quitting smoking is one of the hardest and easiest things to do in life. Hardest because when you're doing it but "want" to quit and can't, you're confused. I remember being in a convenience store and listening to my voice order a pack of smokes and my mind was going off on me. I walked out, opened the pack, pulled out a smoke and lit it, all while the mind was going, "what the **** are you doing? You promised yourself you would stop smoking today!!!" It was fucking insanity. I had the nicotine chewy in an unopened box in my bag, but I still spent the almost $20 to, as mentioned before, stink like **** and kill my lungs. It was a head ****.
Easiest because when I did stop, which happened organically, I started chewing the chewy, every so often caving and having a day on the smokes, two, maybe three, but then the chewy days began increasing in amount and soon I just didn't buy smokes anymore. It was easy.
I was walking along this morning and felt the nicotine twinge when I smelt some dirty filthy smokers smoke but instead of going, "****, I want a cigarette!" I thought, "****, I left my chewy at home". Couple of things, the chewy now is awesome, not like in the past where it was seriously the most foul thing you ever put in your mouth, secondly a pack of 105 pieces is only $37. That'll last around two weeks for me. I'd go through two packs of smokes equalling $36+ in two days. **** smoking.
And the effects are measurable because I was training and dying each lesson while smoking, now I can go for days. -

stopped drinking to train for a fight. Getting bashed and embarrased in front of a couple of hundred people was pretty good motivation.
And from there pretty much stayed stopped.Whitsunday Martial Arts Airlie Beach North Queensland.
