    Hell yeah! Hell no!
Just a completely different thing you might want to consider:

Do you consider fighting an outlet for negative feelings?
Because, then, why not consider bagwork, or, in general, a standup sport that rewards raging?

Before I became the guy that comes to the Throwdown wearing bunny ears, I and, in general, stores as much aggression in him as a pudgy Pommerian, I was always glad I could give my hate to Uncle Heavybag when I needed to.

Don't worry about it. Keep training. Have fun. Really I think the hardest thing is to learn to have fun when you're rolling. If you can do that everything else gets real easy.
I tap so often the hair salon next door thinks the dojo is a drummers practice studio.

That is good to hear. Probably one more thought, though: Don't overexpose yourself. Especially if you are looking to achieve a considerable weight loss, and having difficulties managing the feelings you experience while training, take time to train alone.

Like, bagwork, shadowboxing, running, or lifting. It will give you the time to confront your demons on your own, without having to make smiley-face for the guy who holds your pads.

I also have a question about rolls in Judo (somersault type rolls), should I just ask it in this thread instead of cluttering up the technique forums?

Maybe Basic Techniques, so as to benefit all current and future noobz?

Oh, and I tap a few times while I'm stretching, just to stay sharp.

Congratulations you are in a great place. I love hearing about coaches that actively maintain a positive environment.
