Finding myself strangely underwhelmed with this fight card - I don't really see how Vera is a credible opponent for Rua and, although Bader's not a bad fighter, I fully expect Machida to dance around and pummel him to pieces over three hard-to-watch rounds.
Mostly interested to see how Browne and Davis will do in their fights. Both are potential title challengers in the future and how they do tonight will be an indicator of what to expect in the future. -

little discussion for such a great free event!
spoilers?
Machida looked quick as ever knocking out Bader with a good counter shot.
Rua and Vera looked great against one another, although neither clearly had 5 round endurance. So glad this was free as I couldn't have bought it.
I agree Machida looked better, but personally after this I would've loved to see Machida vs Rua 3 to see who takes the series and becomes the challenger. -

Great event this one put ufc on fox on the map and I hope it was a ratings winner to quiet the haters. Vera has heart I hope he comes back strong next time with a win. I was cheering for Cinderella man aka Varner but I have confidence he'll win next time. Too bad about the Davis fight for both of them. Why in the blue hell do you have a non-English speaker talking to the doc why the hell wasn't a translator there? Lyoto deserves the shot against Jones if he's still LW champ, he won and looked great doing so unlike Rua.
