Dotcom and Megaupload

This site is Dotcom's version of the megaupload scandal and takedown by the FBI (I always thought of them as stand up fighters??)

Here in south America Megaupload was used massively for piracy because original videogames and films are too expensive for 90% of the people

So whats your opinion after seeing his side of the events?
Did the megaupload fall changed a lot of your internet habits?
Do you support its takedown?
Do you donwload a lot from this kind of sites?

I download a ton of music, so I used Megaupload a lot. After about a week I realized it was really just a minor inconvenience, Mediafire was already a better service than MU, and there are plenty of other direct download sites. Pretty much everything I'm downloading is either an out of print obscurity, or from a tiny band with poor distribution that just wants listeners, so there's a pretty active community of people replacing the dead MU links where needed.

As far as MU and Kim Dotcom are concerned, he's a scumbag and I don't really care what happens to him or his site.
