Olympics!

Anybody have any interest in the efforts made to include karate in the Olympics? Looking like it will be in next Summer games (after London). The Olympic committee approved it but its not in the games yet...I guess there are several sports that are recognized by the Olympic committee but have not yet found themselves in the games.

Yeah, I'm always interested in more fighting sports in the Olympics. I think it brings out the best performance in any sport.

I want San Da in the Olympics too. Why not, right?

It would be cool to see olympic rugby even though it isn't MA related. MA-wise, I would like to see olympic BBJ as well.

On: What Should be in the Olympics?

I say: Obviously sub-grappling and MMA (they're traditional!) but I also agree Rugby would be epic.

I would also like to see a return of one other traditional Olympic event- the hoplo-something-or-other; where it's a track and field event but in full military dress (helmet, armor, uh... shield and spear?)
