    Surviving Edged Weapons

Diesel - wow, fo' real? If I would stash hooks and razors like that it would mean nothing but bad cuts and puncture wounds for me everytime I would want to change my pants, scratch my head,... due to lack of short-term memory. It seems a bit inconvenient to stash them like this : /. All in all the video does not offer any idea on how to survive an assault, but gives many on how to successfully conduct one :-).

Seems like the fish hooks would only get you in more trouble since if they're coming into play, you're already caught.

Actually this is a common tactic of outlaw bikers who expect run ins with law enforcement.

The training film uses things that have really happened to law enforcement. You may think its paranoid, but in law enforcement its best to be a little paranoid and come home to your family rather then never coming home again.

Umm it was a 5 minute clip of a 60+ min training film. The actual training film is very informative, and does cover the surviving the assault aspect.

Yeah, it really is an excellent training film, and if anyone has done an updated version, I'd give my left ball (well, not really. I'd give somebody's left ball. We can work out the details later) to get a copy.

Yeah, they get pretty creative with blades. They also get really good at handling them. I knew a convict who kept a razor blade in his mouth all the time. He even ate with it in there. He could have it out and in use before you could say, open your mouth.

Also my brother is a cop. Where he lives, they have an are out in a bad neiborhood where some people have hung up a bunch of fish hooks and razor blades. When they run from the cops, they head right to that area and can run strait through without anyone getting cut. But the officers that run through always get tangled up, snagged, and cut. They go out in the day time and try to clear it out, but they just move to a different area!!!
