    Hell yeah! Hell no!
Thanks. You know what? This is getting culled.

    Why?

No one was worried about his lineage or how chun stacks up to Muay Thai.

I was worried about it. How Wing Chun stacks up to Muay Thai is exactly the kind of thing that keeps me up at night!

I think the only way to really learn to fight is by actually fighting. you can't learn to drive without actually getting on the road. Or swimming without getting in the water. I wish there was a martial arts school that the test was actually getting to fight someone from outside the school in a real fight.

Have you ever been to a boxing/ muay Thai/ MMA club? I'm in total agreement though abstract practice of technique is defo not going to teach you how to fight. Sparring a trained fighter with a pair of 14 oz gloves is much more practical and educational in terms of fighting than picking fights with dudes in the street to convince yourself your a hardened fighter. Most martial arts/ combat sports insist on sparring for this reason.
