The martial arts advice by some posters really makes me depressed. :(
I think most fighters know that thinking too much in the intellectual sense when trying to fight or spar messes with your instincts and reactions. But "anger makes you think"!? What kind of bizarre backwards statement is that? Also control of the mind is the most important thing because anger makes you think and thinking get people killed.
is followed immediately by...Getting behind is always a good idea. As Gene LeBell says, "When you're in front of a man he has four weapons, to his side he has two, behind him he has nothing."
"Enlightening"!?!?!? What the hell. How is that enlightening? In other words, "if you choke someone from behind, it's harder for him to do stuff to you than if you stand in front of him and try to choke him". But that's common sense. How is that "enlightening" to figure out? It's not like you need an Ashida Kim decoder ring from Gene LeBell to realize that if you're behind someone they're generally disadvantaged.Hmm... Gene LaBell made a good point, I see why Master Kim puts an emphasis on rear chokes. Very enlightening...“nobody shoots anybody in the face unless you’re a hit man or a video gamer.” - Jack Thompson

People like Issac Newton, Albert Einstein, Socrates, Plato etc. must have been very angry people and mass murderers since they think so much that others paid for the price with their lifes~~~"People think that judo is only unarmed combat - but you are never unarmed when you can hit someone with a planet.
