Especially considering both how nonchalant he looked going into the second round and the fact he was able to defend those takedowns a lot better than that initial one in the first.

I know right. I was watching that striking (majority of the fight) and thinking: "Slow, dull, zero bad intentions... 2 old timers having a sparring sessions. Ugh". I know it always looks less from the outside and all that, but common! Talk about not hungry anymore.

Notice how post fight, everybody from Silva's camp and his kids and old fighter friends go in the cage for cheering. All are invited except for Seagal, he's the only one stayng out. I think that's where Anderson drew the line for him. To me, that speaks volumes.

To casual fight fan it might seem so but if you look carefully you can see he was using Aikido to defend the takedown.

I can't believe the butthurt a lot of Silva haters ( mostly Sonnen fans, but no all) are displaying. Two guys fought, the better fighter won - what's the issue?

Silva showed why he is a great fighter and Sonnen is just good. Give Sonnen a chance and he cannot always finish - give Silva a chance and you are finished

Well, another card that was good but left us wanting more! I knew Anderson
Would probably take it but dang that seemed easy after getting
controlled for the 1st round.

Did Sonnen look like he had the Forrest chin or what? Seemed like he
took harder shots in the 1 st fight.

Strange to see 2 fighters fall to injury so quickly. I knew Cody
wiuld not survive Chad but the Dong thing was a bummer.

How did Sonnen break his nose? i thought the knee when he was on the ground caught him in the face! though "intended" for the body. Kinda predictable, Silva is just too good.
Oh and the greasing up in the beginning was a **** move! WTF!
