Did anyone else actually feel sorry for Sonnen when seeing how scared he looked? I was going for Silva and really getting caught up in the hype, but when I saw Sonnen I actually felt bad for him. He looked petrified and his locker room was dead silent when they showed it right before the fight.
Still, great to see The Spider win again, like always.
I also really liked the Cote/Le fight. It was entertaining, close, and that moment they had where they shot each other a look (one even pointed at the other, though I forgot who did) was hilarious.
My only disappointment was DHK being injured so fast into the bout. I was rooting for him and, while I woulda been okay with a loss, I was hoping it would at least be a decent fight.
And was Cody McKenzie on drugs going into his round? -

Not really. He wanted to get Silva mad, he got what he wanted, and it didn't work out the way he thought it would. It was pretty hilarious watching him just sit there against the cage after he missed the spinning backfist, though. You could see him thinking "Yeah, I think I'm just about fucked now."Did anyone else actually feel sorry for Sonnen when seeing how scared he looked? I'd also like to add, I love some Cung Le fighting. A San Shou great, and a pretty damn badass mma fighter. None too shabby for 40 odd yrs old.
His prop and pound style is fantastic, and I love to watch it. Nice takedowns also.
Right at the start of the fight, he did a classic San Shou kick catch and sweep on Cote. magical. He did it on Shamrock in their fight nicely, later in the fight. He should be getting more props than he does, IMO. -
I am a living legend!
