EXACTLY- thats my point- I know GSP and Sonnen are completely different fighters- but my point is;
ANYONE who thinks chael 'doesnt know bjj' is high off their ass- HIM (and nearly every top level competitor) are WORLD class in [usually] all aspects of their game-
But when Sonnen sits on his heels PRETENDING to throw effective hammer strikes (even though he is aware they are not- AND he is MORE than capable of passing guard etc) the REASON he doesnt is > HE DOES NOT WANT TO ATTEMPT IT AND RISK LOSING!
I Just dislike that (whether by design- or by flaw.) the point system causes fighters to DRAMATICALLY pander to the 'event'
(ie Anderson Silva being booed for not trading punches.. yet he ends the fight with a KO- while at the SAME TIME- GSP gets cheered for stalling in half mount to 'ground and pound' when he is MORE than capable of attempting to ACTUALLY finish with submission or strikes- but instead DOESNT- because throwing hammers LOOKS like 'winning' and is less risky) -

Yes, it's called prostate cancer. Testosterone (injected or natural) induces prostate growth, and prostate cancer. Half of men of over 75% have asymptomatic prostate cancer on biopsy, and it's over 90% (IIRC) at 85. It's that testosterone goes down as you age, so it's slow growing and won't kill you before something else does.

Also TRT seems to shrink the testicles in younger men. **** just got serious.
TRT's long term effects/ramifications aren't that well studied. Fighters in their late twenties or early thirties aren't really the target group for it from what I've seen in medical articles. This is IMO an end run around doping restrictions.Last edited by bobyclumsyninja; 7/09/2012 3:05pm at .
