New vid up of all the contestants giving up the low down of who they are and what they do.
Also, went to the launch party last night (watched TUF: the Smashes, was rad), and met all of the contestants, the production crew, the host, the coaches etc. Turns out there is going to be five heavyweights (at least initially) including myself.
We start in just over a week, so hopefully soon details on where you can watch it online will be forthcoming. -

Agreed for the jab. As for the beard? Hell no!
That's the plan! I'm two sessions in, and I hurt in most places, but it's bearable. Got me some dencorub.
The training so far has been great. First day was more of an orientation with lots of talking, but we still managed to warm up do some pummeling for about 45 minutes. I went for a jog after wards with two of the other contestants afterwards, managed to go about half a kilometer before I stopped and walked back (yes, I'm that unfit. I would have quit earlier had I attempted the same thing a few months ago though).
Today we did some wrestling, which I have been keen to get into a bit more - it was tough, but I was somewhat surprised to see I wasn't the most unfit one there. A couple of the other heavyweights were really struggling about halfway through. There is definitely some big strong guys in my weightclass though, much stronger than I am currently. I'm going to have to make sure I work on my strength over the next few months.
Actually, here is a question for guys who have competed - whilst training, if you get a bit of a flu, do you power on or have a rest day to recuperate? I'd rather keep going to training obviously, but I'm wondering if it's going to be more detrimental than productive.
