    Athlete's foot

Well I'm gonna sound like a nasty mofo here but oh well. Skin has been coming off my feet for the past couple of days (mostly around toes and above ball of foot.) Its white, doesn't smell, itch, burn or anything. Its just coming off. And I don't wanna be a douche so I'm staying away from training until I know what this **** is and how I can get rid of it. Any advice? Especially cuz I'm stuck with barefoot training until my feiyues come in. So for now break and trying not to spread this. Going to the doctor tomorrow but until then anything I can do?

Sounds to me like you just have dry feet that are not used to the types of things you are putting them through.

As long as there is no itching, burning, redness, bumps, or open sores, I would put some lotion on them and not worry about it.

Did you just start to train bare foot?

I've been training for almost a year barefoot. Except at my new dojo the floor is wooden instead of the mats that I'm used to. Until 2 or 3 weeks ago i've only trained on tae kwon do style mats. It might be that my feet are not used to hard surfaces...

Whenever I get back into training after a break, I have the same thing happen to me. It's not athlete's foot. I've had that too, and it does burn, get red and crack open. I'm with Diesel_tke. Sounds like dry feet.
