I've just seen a Kharitonov fight, and I will be rooting for him. I doubt he will be able to pull off a win over Ninja, but damn the man's got skills.
You say what about my rice?

I've heard things about Sergei. Isn't Ninja going up in weight?

He has to. With Wanderlei as the middle-weight king, unless he wants to challenge a stable-mate (which I hear Chute Boxe won't allow).
Did anyone find out why Pele left Chute Box about a year ago?

Pele's got mental problems.
Can you believe that Kevin Roidleman bought his way into this tourney because he threw that fight to Suckuraba? WTF has Roidleman done thats even been remotely impressive in Pride?
I wonder if Coleman's been paid to throw the fight to Fedor? I hope not because if he's been training the right way and taking the correct steroids he could have a shot to win it. When he's on his game he's a tough guy to beat. I can't believe these guys arew fighting in the first round though. Thats BS.
And the Japs are some VISCIOUS people for getting Leko to walk into the Grand Prix, which he has no business being in, and obliterate Ogawa. This is like tying up a prisoner and letting him get beaten to death. They know Leko is going to brutally KO Ogawa. They're happy, it'll be entertainment. Ogawa knows it too. He's getting paid to stand there and let Leko show off his slick hand/foot combos and earn an easy spot into the next round....which is like DreamStage Entertainment giving K-1 a little wink and buying them a drink. The only thing Ogawa has going for him is the fact that Leko is being trained at the Takada Dojo.
Mirko and Roidleman should be a good fight though. The RoidMan may be boring but he can take people down like business time. I wonder if Mirko is going to be able to stop Roids from shooting? I wonder if Cro Cop was a proson guard if he could stop Kevin Randleman from dragging him into the showers and raping him?
And what the fukk is takahashi doing in the heavyweight class? Whats this guys weight at? He used to fight in Pancrase a while back and I think he looked like 180lbs. He fought Wallid Ismael in the UFC and pulled Ismaels cup from out of his shorts. He's a dirty little baztard but Ismael isn't a heavyweight so I cant see Takahashi being able to hang with someone as big as Herring.
Freebie for Rua.
The funniest fight og the night will be Giant Silva and Sentoryu. Pride should have their heads examined for letting 2 obvious sucks into its superbowl. The Japanese just dont take these things as seriously as we do. This is a show to them, its like the ultimate test in someone elses eyes though. People want to know whos the best of the best, and the Pride Grand Prix should really answer that question instead of shoving hopeless train wrecks of pro wrestlers in front of you and a few good guys to feed on them.
The top guys should have average fights during the year and then have to deal with A+ type fighters at the Grand Prix instead of the other way around.

IS this heavyweight or open?
And that's when I figured out that tears couldn't make somebody who was dead alive again. There's another thing to learn about tears, they can't make somebody who doesn't love you any more love you again. It's the same with prayers. I wonder how much of their lives people waste crying and praying to God. If you ask me, the devil makes more sense than God does. I can at least see why people would want him around. It's good to have somebody to blame for the bad stuff they do. Maybe God's there because people get scared of all the bad stuff they do. They figure that God and the Devil are always playing this game of tug-of-war game with them. And they never know which side they're gonna wind up on. I guess that tug-of-war idea explains how sometimes, even when people try to do something good, it still turns out bad.
