Neal Stephenson & Swords = Book

Interesting article about Neal Stepehnson, Greg Bear, and others, messing about with swords and fighting techniques. Add in eastern martial arts, the Mongols in eastern Europe in 1242, and how to use swords to stop the invasion.

I stopped myself from buying this last weekend because I still haven't finished the Baroque Cycle. Stephenson is an amazing storyteller.

There goes my weekend. Apparently there's some interactive iOS app-based thing for it. Anyone try that?

Here's the link to the official site. There's a "fight choreography" video, as well as one about historical underpinnings. There's also downloads for mobile apps.
