    I wasn't into boxing when he was active but I have seen a few of his matches. May he rest in peace.

    Well, sad stuff. I remember watching some fights he had in the 90's. Definitely always entertained. However, reading up on his life now I guess this pretty much had to happen at some point.

    Definitely sad, especially when you factor in the likelihood of it involving drugs. Also horribly sad about Paul Williams' accident.

    Terrible story. I followed his tempestuous career in the boxing press (US) and Boxing News (UK weekly). His wife saved him at least once.

    Tragic. RIP Johnny.
