honestly he is actually using a real karate block yes it is not seen in sanbon kumite but you find it in kata like heian sandan it is usually followed by a spear hand but that is not the rule but really the human body can only use a certain number of movements. Is that strait out of kata no is it a little adapted yes is it just a boxing parry if it is he did it wrong. The boxing parry should never reach for the block it is supposed to be close in and a short quick moment.

But of course it is my opinion and a gut feeling having done both techniques my self and been repeatedly told to not reach for the parry.

No he doesn't use any krotty blocks it's all boxing, hell I bet he doesn't even know krotty. If his last fight was any indication he doesn't know either style.

I got tagged in the face quite a bit (we sparred with black/brown belts for assessment purposes) but I got a couple good body and leg shots in. Getting a jab or cross through is hard with those big gloves blocking.
Hahahahahahahaa........ Nope, it has nothing to do with your test. It has to do with your comments in this and other threads. You've claimed to be training Goju for a minute, but haven't sparred? Bwahahahahahaaaa

Of course, we won't mention how you admit you use Muay Thai and kickboxing techniques in your training. You know,,,because it is all KARATE.
