You should assume it's a drastic misunderstanding, because it's either that or a whole-cloth fabrication.

I think the idea is intriguing but the reality is "weekend warrior". Your mind will write the check and your body will pay. Think of HS football players playing a pick up game twenty years later. Injuries will happen. The mind will push your body to do what you used to be able to do.

It might not be able to teach you kung fu, but "decoded neurofeedback" could improve your reflexes without you having to lift a finger.

At that point I think they'll be able to make it where it can tell how tired you are.

I would not pay to have someone tamper with my brain. Call me a nut but I would never trust it to anything other than a lifesaving medical procedure. Plus I am a broke college student going into a career field that pays jackshit so I would never be able to afford it even if I did want it.
For me it will be drilling and sparring till the day I am an old grouchy man that can't.

    Slightly better link: http://www.nsf.gov/news/news_summ.js...=NSF&from=news

This is unlikely to work outside the visual cortex for several reasons.

I'm not sure which is more worrying; that it took 6 posts for someone to call bullshit or that it took 13 posts for someone to post the 'I know Kung Fu' video.

And while we're on the subject of quality science.....

I've got a metric fuckton of herbal penis enlarger pills that are guaranteed (read scientifically proven) to give you a 10" penor. And yet for some reason I'm having a difficult time moving this product. Guese I need a celebrity cocksperson/spokesperson to endorse them for me.

    Hmmmmmm.
