Just don't get a bunch of tattoos in characters you don't understand after only asking one guy to spell it for you. An MMA fan I know from Wales did it because he thought what his tattoo said meant something really deep, thoughtful etc. then when translated just said 'Punch' in Mandarin.

Style: Daido Juku - Kudo--
As a tattoo artist, I would suggest giving your ideas to a good tattoo artist in your area and letting them crest something in their style. They always put more into their own creations. Meaning, it will be performed with more scrutiny by the artist.
