I couldn't hear what he was saying, no.

However, it was clear he was trying to interject with some nonsense about how Farage was wrong, I don't particularly like Farage, but he is 100% correct about the lunacy of the current Euro situation.

What's totally crazy to me is that the Spanish banks being bailed out aren't even the big one. There isn't even the excuse of them being 'too big to fail', these are mid tier banks that could and should fail under a properly operating capitalist economy.

Instead we have this bastardised social democratic corporatist version of capitalism where profits are privates, losses are socialised and tax payers are picking up the tab for the follies of private investors and the hubris of politicians.

    Its just insane.

Oh and the inimitable Daniel Hannan a true hero and a great orator.

Americans may be familiar with him from this epic pwning of Gordon Broon.

Member no. 697 Roger Helmer to Hannan's right in the second video defected from the Tories to UKIP recently.

In 2014 I predict UKIP winning a near total landslide in the European elections.

Professional head silicate insulator, former Maoist and unelected president Barrosso says that the Euro crisis is nothing to do with the fundamental contradictions of the currency of 2 years of dicking about.

    No its America's fault.

Contrast the oration and tact of British politicians against the current, err, cream of Australian politics.

Yesterday the PM drew fire from business leaders attending the high powered talk fest, after telling Europe it should take lessons from Australia on how to manage an economy.

"While we acknowledge that every country faces its own unique circumstances, we do believe there are some lessons for the world in the Australian way," she said.
Meanwhile Mr Hockey, the opposition’s treasury spokesman, said Ms Gillard’s letter to G20 delegates on why they should get their economies in order backfired when European leaders said it contained no new ideas.

“The Prime Minister is delivering a lecture for local political purposes only,” he said.

“Around the world no-one is taking the Prime Minister seriously.

“Instead of engaging in megaphone diplomacy the Prime Minister should be admitting to the Australian people how her record debt and record deficits compromise Australia’s international competitiveness.

Hannan is pretty much one of a kind when it comes to erudition. Farrage is also pretty unique for his controlled passion.

90% of them are barely able to string a sentence together.

Because they weren't bankrupting themselves by awarding each other non-productive jobs with generous pensions out of public funds, like most of Europe. Get back to work, Sanchez.

I've never understood why Europeans wheel out the US as some kind of justification for the Euro.

    Its just retarded.

Its like saying "Well a handbrake stops my car! So why wouldn't a handbrake work in my canoe?"

I mean, what do you even say in response to that...?
