European and EU leaders seem to fundamentally not understand how to talk to the British or how to make the case to us to stay in the EU, though not surprising as it's a futile cause.

If they really genuinely want the UK to stay in the EU, their only hope is to give the political elite the ammunition they need to make the case for Britain staying in the EU. That is to say, Rumpy Pumpy and Angela Merkel need to come out and say, yes Britain can re-negotiate it's relationship back to a single market only relationship, yes Britain can opt out of the European court, it can opt out of everything except the bare bones of the single market.
Unless they come out and say that, every pronouncement they make will only undermine and weaken the pro-EU political class and make an OUT vote in a referendum more likely.
I want an out vote and I want us out ASAP, so I'd quite like Rumpy Pumpy, Maoel Barosso and the rest of them to keep giving these aggressive pronouncements on our EU membership, because each interview they give makes our exit a sooner and more certain event.
