No, on such short notice I couldn't get anyone to come with me to film for me.
    But!
My Sensei got it put in the newspaper. Not sure if it can be read from this photo.

No unfortunately I won't make any money out of this fight. Because it is Amateur... Basically I was told that this is the "interview" stage.

    Good luck.

Get video. Post it here. Respect will be given, as mentioned before, your enthusiasm is admirable.

I might be annoying to you guys(sorry), but I'm just really excited.
Especially today as I got a call while I was at work. That I got a fight... June 2 :)
Apparently the guy I will be facing name is "Dean" I think.
hes 1-0 and won by TKO. The guy supposedly is a man with a heavy right hand. So yeah I am excited and ready.

And my original question of this thread was answered as well.
I will be provided with gloves and shin guards. My fight manager will provide me shorts for this fight. He said all I will have to get is Mouthpiece and cup. And my fight is set for June 2. Whether I win or get knocked out(lol). The main thing is that I think this will open my eyes. Take me to a new plateau.

As I said, post video. Experienced members will critique it, but you'll unlikely get anyone giving you too much **** on here if you step up, regardless of the result. Although be prepared for the "I told you so" crew, which will be spearheaded by yours truly.

Well I guess I probably need to be making arrangements for someone to come and film me so I can post it here. I don't mind critique... It will make me better. I will just compartmentalize the harsh words lol. In Japanese Martial Arts being able to take harsh criticism is a must.

I am suggesting ever. I know pro fighters here. And with training costs, travel costs physio and all the other things that go into preparing for a fight. They do not come out rich.
sponsership helps. But at best you will break even.

    Do you have a corner?

    What is the fight?
    Three fives?
    Elbows?
    Knees to the head?
    knees on the deck?

Find possibly dean and see if you can find some youtube of him.

Well I would just appreciate just any extra money. Especially to help with my trip to Japan next year with my Dojo.

As far as corner goes... I have a choice between the guys I am using to manage my fights or my Sensei. I choose to have my Sensei corner me because I figured who better to corner me than the Head of our school. Jujutsuka of my flavor aren't typically what you see in MMA. So I don't think an MMA coach would be the best option for my corner.

The fight is an amateur MMA fight.
I think the fight will consist of the typical MMA rules, but I am sure I will be informed. Right now my Fight Manager is giving me 24hrs to sleep on the decision if I want to take this fight or not.(Which yeah I will, although I wish I had another week at least lol)

And last I spoke on the phone with him, he was currently trying to find some video on the guy. So hes doing that for me and he will send the video over to me once he gets some footage of him. Right now all I got is hearsay. I hear he "appears" to not like being on the ground and that he has a heavy right hand that he likes to use.

internets ate my post. I asked if you had video of you throwing a guy 6 feet, not just competing in a judo comp.
