I recently passed my final kyu rank. Also I just came back from the tai kai, the national comepetion for my style of karate and placed first in bogu for my division. But all in all I am going for shodan now. I would like to hear your two cents about what ever.

But yeah if you want my two cents I will say go for it and get shodan yay! What are the rules for the tournament you won? Whats the name of the tournament and where was it held?

Where you from? Which set you represent?
What your art be?
You be reppin' fo' traditional Japanese Karate?
What's the skill set that you dedicate your brain in?
You ever do any of that full contact training?
You ever let loose on a ************ with an uchi mata?
Ever spin a ************ so hard he got fluffy like batter?
Do you seismic toss motherfuckers like Charizard used to?
Are you fast enough to shock a ************ like Pikachu?

These questions need to be answered before we can progress.

I just posted cuz the y u no post guy was there. Well as for style its traditional but the way I am taught is to adapt it cuz no two people are the same, like in Bruce Lees philosophy stress the individual.

But as for your training. **** yeah. Best of luck to you. Get that 12th kyu you're going for. Be all you can be. Train hard. Never look back. There is no try. Only you can prevent forest fires.

Well, the other day, right, I was outside in Woolloomooloo, which is in East Sydney and there was a car with "Ron Paul for President" on the side. Like an official looking sticker. It was hilarious. This is Australia, fool. Man, had me cracking up, this thing was so plastered with American political bumper stickers of a totally moronic nature that I thought I'd teleported to Texas (stereotyping, guys, not all Texans are bumper sticker displaying morons, it's just pop culture representation). Anyway, I still don't understand the point why you'd display it over here, if anyone gave two shits or a **** about it, they'd be citizens who want to vote and if they want to vote, they'd have already made up their mind. I'd hope. Anyway, my two cents.
