Yes, but I think that's inevitable; any glove that protects the fist and allows wrestling grips is going to follow this basic design. They'd probably sell more if they were being marketed to MMA fighters, though.

That's pretty neat, I gotta say. But I have the nagging feeling that these gloves are basically a more expensive version of these, making it kind of silly for customers in the US to buy them.

I think the Broughton gloves are intended mostly for the UK/European market.

It'd be cool to see them in use at the Chicago location. Maybe a little video of a couple folks using them and talk about how they feel sparring with them.

Could happen - we have a photo and video shoot coming up. FWIW I was using them last night in mixed cane/boxing sparring (light-medium contact against fencing masks, so not exactly "intended use") and they were fine for that purpose.

Out of interest how are you defining "more expensive"? Even with the current exchange rate they come in about $5 cheaper, even more as they have free shipping at the moment.

I was factoring in the international shipping cost, though if there currently is free shipping then that would indeed make it less expensive for the time being.
