    Hell yeah! Hell no!

What to do with a medal you did not earn?

I have a second place medal that I got for competing in a bracket of two. I'm not fealing all that warm and fuzzy about it. If you have ever felt the same what did you do with it?

At the top of my list is to give it to my kids play with.

It would be a conversation piece on my "I Love Me Wall'. As long as you are honest about its origin, you can probably get some laughs out of it.

You did earn it. Even if there was only two of you. If you didn't compete and got a medal THEN you didn't earn it. If you competed and lost so be it.

I got a bronze in a bracket of three last year. My 18 month old loves it.

Stick it in your box of certs. Even though you didn't have 5 matches to get the medal, you still trained hard, possibly cut weight, showed up ready to go, and mentall prepared. You did your part. A lot went into the medal besides the one fight.

So stick it in that box, and maybe it will end up on the bottom of a pile of other medals. But I wouldn't throw it away.

Sell it to someone who can use it to impress women, and buy your children a cool toy with the proceeds. Win-win-win.

Keep it. It is actually a cool story. Probably more interesting than most stories about medals and awards.

I definitely considered that option but I don't I would get that nice bullet hole affect. It would probably just break. Would have been cool to hang up with a coulple of holes in it tho.
