Saw this on my wall of Facebook today. I love how the "Thai Boxer" can't cut an angle to save his life, brings his hands down, doesn't mix up his attacks, and punches with curled wrists.

Yes, chun beats Thai Kickboxing not surprised. That's the second "Muay Thai" win I've seen out of 1,000s going the other way. Good on him. I'd like hear about the rules, training length, and reasons for the match. I'd like to know why it was gear vs. no gear.

This is what Wing Chun excels at tho, smothering to the point to not allow the other fighter to do any of the issues you mentioned. This is why Wing Chun footwork is so effective yet never truly understood nor showcased like this. To date, this is the only Wing Chun practitioner who has shown he understands true footwork and structure application in context via a YouTube demo. He just completely shut down the Thai Boxer.

That was izzotacticalcombat replying to my comment. I was more or less busy taking issue with how people are treating the guy who got beat as some sort of good representative for the potential of Muay Thai and how it fails against the Super Art that is the Chun.
