By bypassing sparring and not asking a coach. It doesn't matter how many times you explain your reasoning it sounds dumb. No one is missing your point they are ignoring your "excuse."

Are you currently training at a gym?

What you asked was help on how to "judge the timing and angle better", which seems to me to be a mobility issue more than a blocking one. It's also one of those things that is commonly answered with "spar more", but since that's not to your liking I'll throw out something more specific. Spar more slowly. Slow things down and play with using better angles; don't just do full speed sparring where you revert back to your default movement habits. Play. Be deliberately evasive, and if some particular thing keeps landing, drill defending that one thing several times until you're satisfied and comfortable with your defense to it.

I'm not bypassing sparring, I just have not had the time lately.

No I'm not currently training at a gym, I had to take a break for family reasons. I will be starting back up in about a month and just want to brush up on some things.

    So, you agreed.

Right so you don't have the time and are bypassing sparring by watching videos. Yes, this is instead of waiting and doing other thins until you can get back to the gym. You know, instead of learning bad habits you'll have to unlearn.

    Remember this?
For the Nth time, Bnet is right and everyone else is wrong.
You do realize you confirmed EVERYTHING in my post and this thread? No wait, you don't. That's why you keep saying "NO YOU ARE MISSING MY POINT" while confirming what everyone has stated.
