    Try waiting for him to kick, and then hitting him with a front leg sidekick - If you can block his kick, you can push him out of your range. Kick him hard enough he'll stumble back and you can follow it up.

    Alternatively, go for a hook kick lead in, but then go for sidekick to the liver once his guard is raised. If you hit him hard enough through the gear it'll work.
