The past few years have seen a rise in my like for hockey. At first it was just attending a Kings game just for fun, and now it has grown to me constantly cheering my ass off on facebook much to the chagrin of my friends, especially with the Kings doing decent against the Canucks right now.
It's gotten to the point where I've considered Rec Hockey for fun, but with BJJ and me starting Judo again, I don't see myself having the time. Ah, well.... GO KINGS!!
oh, and Pens & Flyers, wtf happened there?! I had a choice of watching the Pen/Flyers game or the Rangers/Sens game and went with THAT?! At least when the Kings blew their sweep their goaltender showed some effort.

Goddamn Penguins !!
At least Detroit is out. That's always a good thing." If one wants to have a friend one must also want to wage war for him: and to wage war one must be capable of being an enemy." - Fr. Nietzsche 'On The Friend' Thus Spake Zarathustra

As to the last five or so years: the Flyers have not only been dirtier than the Penguins, they've based their brand on it.

Like I said before..**** the Penguins.
The only guy on that team that I respect is Staal , and maybe Neal.
Flyers move on, Cindy and the girls get to golf.
Now if the Sens can beat the NYR - that would be sweet.
