    Now did the Chinese kid do Shaolin boxing or Sanda? Now I may be wrong because I don't do Sanda, but from what I heard about it that looks like Sanda.

    Sanda is like MMA it is still a ruleset. There are areas that teach Sanda as an art, but they are few and far between. Most schools, right now, teach Sanda under their style.

    So yes, that can be Shaolin techniques being used in the Sanda Ruleset.
