Thanks! Mind you, there are still some hardcore capoeira schools, even here in São Paulo. Do not think all capoeiristas are in it for the culture thingy, some of them are criminals or bad ass mofos.
Which is a good thing, as far as I am concerned, since the roots of the art are violent.

hey, something flashed in my head just now reading this thread. hands together...using knives...anyone think that cap. was what influenced the fight in michael jackson's BEAT IT video?
back in the day, my friends and i always made fun of that scene, but like i said...now that i think about it it was pretty cap-ish.
