Henderson does indeed have balls roughly the size of Pluto, but don't kid yourself: he is way too small to hang with modern top-shelf heavyweights. Dos Santos would murder him.

If we were talking a somewhat slower HW champion, then I could see giving Hendo decent odds. JDS is fast, though, and not just HW fast. I love seeing Hendo fight but he is almost at the end of his career and I'd rather not see his first brutal KO loss.

Hendo vs. Fedor was one I'd wanted since I got into mma fandom. I'm thrilled it happened...but that's not the only reason Hendo is a good choice. He literally is, Mr i kick ass at many weight classes.

Much like Randy (was), he is always a threat. Also, he's waiting for a fight.

I would favor Hendo vs. JDS very slightly.
He definitely is one of those guys who can beat anyone any given night. But at his size he can't consistently win at HW. He would lose way more than he could win. That's why it would be a freak show.

I could see him taking a HW fight here and there if it would be a great matchup. But to put him in there for the title when there's no way he can win more than he loses would just be messed up.

The mere thought of Hendo or Hunt getting the shot has given me a really painful erection that won't go away. I pray to God that the suspense ends soon so I can go back in public again.

UFC President Dana White told that no decision regarding a replacement bout will be made prior to Overeem's NSAC hearing, which is April 24.

The social isolation I can handle. What scares me is the buildup. If they finally announce Hendo or Hunt as the challenger after all that time... I don't think the world can handle the load I would blow.

    I predict that
    no matter, whether
    Overeem, Hunt, Henderson,
    Or even Fedor,
    this year's UFC heavyweight champion
    will have been forged with
    PRIDE!!!

    I'm glad Overeem got caught.

In a sport where you can potentially end a career and inflict life-long injury with one strike, slam or sub cheating to win is just disgusting to me.

I'm not that naive that I think that nobody else is on something but if you get caught flagrantly shooting up like this you deserve all the derision you get.

Go back to Japan and beat up Asian prowrestlers, Alistair if you can't comply with the regulations.

Thats a really crap timeframe, you go from giving a guy 2 months to prepare to 4 weeks. (For a title shot no less.) I've got to imagine he's made some on the sly phone calls telling someone . "Hey have you crap ready to go if I need you." If not no matter who it is you have to some what favor the champ as the challenger doesn't get a full training camp.
